At Garden View we offer a unique “Home From Home” cat boarding experience. Veterinary surgeon William and nursing assistant Joanne will offer guests professional care and attention within their own home.
All guests will have a truly relaxing experience, hearing the usual sounds of background music or television to ensure the setting is as familiar as possible to their own environment.
The Cattery is an integral part of the house, which is located in South Lanarkshire. You will arrive at Reception where you will have the opportunity to sit and chat introducing yourself and your cat. Joanne and William will show their guest to their room and you may spend time making sure they are settled and comfortable, ready to enjoy their stay with us.

William has owned his own Veterinary practice for 35 years now, and his knowledge and experience will be invaluable when looking after our guests.

Having spent the last 13 years working at William's Veterinary practice in Clarkston. Joanne wanted to go back to spending more time at home enjoying the garden and the views over the countryside. Having the cattery allows her to carry on looking after pets and enjoy working from home.

Garden View Cattery is located close to the surrounding towns of Lanark, Lesmahagow, Strathaven, and the Clyde Valley with excellent motorway links from Glasgow and Edinburgh. We are only 5 minutes off the M74 at Junction 9.
